Who is Bryan Martyn

I grew up in Tempe, Arizona where I was a 1984 graduate of McClintock High School. I played played baseball, football, and basketball. After high school I played baseball at Arizona State University before joining the Army with the sole desire to fly the mighty AH-64 Apache.
I served 20 years as a helicopter pilot; 12 years as a US Army AH-64 Apache Pilot and 8 years as a USAF Special Operations MH-53 Pave Low Pilot. I've flown combat missions in Desert Storm, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
I moved back to Arizona in 2004 and started to look for ways to lead in my own community. In November of 2008 I ran for Pinal County Supervisor and was elected to a four-year term. It is a great honor to serve almost 200,000 of my friends and neighbors.
I'm an active Freemason, Rotarian, and Lion. I'm a member of the American Legion and a Lifetime Member of the VFW. I'm a Board Member of Pinal Partnership, East Valley Partnership, Arizona State Parks Foundation, Hope Women's Center, the Lost Dutchman Marathon and I sit on the Governor's Military Affairs Commission. In 2007, I graduated from the prestigious Valley Leadership Program (Class XXVIII) and in 2010, I graduated from the Hispanic Leadership Institute-Pinal (Class VI).
My formal education includes a Graduate Degree in Management from American Military University and an Under-graduate degree in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
I have been married to my wife, Susie, of Tempe, for twenty-four years. We have four sons ages 19, 18, 18 and 17.
